Insights from the Inaugural ALI Global Sustainability Day 2022

The inaugural Aircraft Leasing Ireland Global Aviation Sustainability Day took place in the Convention Centre Dublin on October 27th 2022. The theme of the day was ‘collaboration and inspiration and it was a day dedicated to bringing key industry participants together to explore the challenges and elements involved in driving towards ‘Net Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050’. As we know, collective change is required across the industry and discussions on the day included the availability of SAF, challenges facing airlines, aircraft financing and navigating regulatory change as well as the signing of the ALI charter.
